A Level of Cool

There aren't enough "Sports Comedies" I say.

After a childhood of being tormented by a bully who is now a major star on a sports competition show, a meek twenty-something man seeks revenge on his former nemesis by getting in better shape and beating him at his own game.

Genre: Sports Comedy

Marcus the bully has stolen every girl Ryan has ever loved -- since they were in kindergarten! And though Ryan grows up looking good, athletic and physically fit, with a good job in a law firm, he still hungers for revenge. When he spots Marcus acting as resident baddie on an American Gladiators-type TV show -- it's the chance he's been waiting for!

He assembles a mismatched group of his fit friends -- who each have their own things to prove -- and they train for the chance to help Ryan defeat Marcus once and for all. Can Ryan go the distance and save not only his manhood, but his dojo and the marriage of his best friend? Or will Marcus engineer the ultimate defeat...before the final match has even been fought?

This script is based on my own experiences with a bully from school -- and my karate training certainly helped me write some knockout fight scenes! We all know what it's like to feel that hunger for payback...and in this script I feel I've come up with a really unique take on what it means to get even.

I would love to send over "A Level Of Cool" for your consideration! Thank you for your time -- I look forward to hearing from you soon!

Sincerely,

Raef Lawson

FLAMENCO GIRL

Multitudes of multiculture.

Query title: FLAMENCO GIRL
Genre: Romance, Drama

A poor but beautiful 29 years old Spanish girl started a messy love triangle (multi-angle) among a rich Caucasian man, a poor Latino man and a rich Chinese man from Hong Kong.

She came from Spain to America with a dream. She is very fememine, hardworking, loves to dance and became a Flamenco dance instructor in New York and later in Los Angeles.

The Caucasian man, 44, is rich, sensual, and very materialistic. He knows to enjoy the best thing in life. He was crazy for her Flamenco beauty and sexy body. He believes money can buy everything. The Latino man, 32, is poor, energetic, young, sincere but passionate. Is also a dance instructor, tried everything to conquer her heart. The Latino man believes love doesn't cost a thing. Love is not that money can buy.

The Chinese man from Hong Kong, 41, tall, handsome, spiritual, cool, gererous and warm-hearted. He only wanted her friendship and treated her like a sister, gave her a hand and supported her when she lost everything and in her most difficult time. He even sponsored her to start her own dancing studio and made her dream come true.

The Spanish girl was grateful of the Chinese man and tried to seduce him and to repay him in bed, miraculously, the Chinese man rejected her and said: "I helped you because I admire you, I don't need anything in return... You don't need to pay me back. I am actually still in love with someone that I lost contact 12 years ago... I still haven't found her but I believe someday I will. I like you as a sister, please remember never use your body to repay a favor. That is very wrong..."

Who is right, who is wrong? Did the Spanish girl give up? Did she know what love is? Who did she end up with?

Every other word that describes speed have been taken. Get this one while you can.

When Fraser comes back from a near-death experience, he brings back with him a gift the ability to rewind time.
