MY LATINA BABE

This topical comedy, which would absolutely not be painfully awkward on the big screen, seems yet to have found an audience despite the fact that it was sent to me almost a year ago. To my disappointment, mylatinababe.com is not even live anymore! But let's hope to god this script still is. The contact information will clearly not be of use at this point, but surely you can find Ronald if you really want to. Maybe online.

LOGLINE: A lonely Internet geek from New York City, builds his very own Latin dating website and becomes not only the CEO but a client as he hooks up with a stunning Latin flower farm worker from Colombia.

Genre: Romantic Comedy

SYNOPSIS: Ethan, a magna cum laude grad from Colombia University, turns down a fellowship from the Department of Defense and instead develops his very own dating website, "Mylatinababe.com". A continent away Isabella, heartbroken, decides to take her chances on Ethan's dating site. Before she can meet anyone, Ethan spots her photo and amazed by her stunning beauty, breaks his only rule; "Do not date the clients".

Isabella's mother initially permits her to visit Ethan. Until she witnesses Ethan naked online and forbids Isabella any contact with him. Sparks fly and cultures collide as Isabella defies her mother and lands in New York City at Ethan's doorstep. Making Ethan choose between a demanding old girlfriend and a passionate Latin woman who captivates his life.

I would like to submit this screenplay for your consideration and can be contacted as listed below.

THE LIFE OF THE PARTY

I smell high jinks!

THE LIFE OF THE PARTY

Logline: How far will a boring guy go to win the heart of his dream girl, who desires a man with a great sense of humor?

Genre: Comedy

Duncan Adams, a boring psychotherapist with the excitement quotient of Nyquil, has met his dream woman, Laura, who looks for sense of humor as her #1 dating criteria. After failing the class "Anyone Can Be Funny", Duncan discovers a new drug, Jovitrol, guaranteed to make you jolly and joking. At first all is well and he wins Laura's heart and funnybone. But when competition enters - namely British comedian, Billy Bedlam, Duncan overdoses in an attempt to be #1 funny man. The downside is his humor becomes insulting and rude, causing him to lose friends, clients and landing him in jail. Even after stopping the Jovitrol, he's still Don Rickles. Will the comic nightmare wreck his new relationship? And is being funny worth it or should we just be happy with who we are?
